A new update rolled out for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the major fixes is Challenge Bug. This patch, version 2.0.1, update doesn't make any new balance adjustments to the game, it's focus more and fixes an issue with one of its Challenges.

The 2.0.0 update made some big changes to the game, the most notable of which was the addition of Piranha Plant, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's first DLC character.

Explicitly, the patch fixes a bug that occur following the recent 2.0.0 update, which prevented players from completing an Adventure Challenge featuring King K. Rool, even if the conditions had been met. Once the update has been installed, load your Adventure save data and the issue will be fixed right away.

The next DLC character coming to the game is Persona 5's Hero (Joker). In the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo confirmed that he'll be joining the roster sometime this year, and a report that we saw few days ago suggest his coming before the end of April alongside with new update version 3.0.0. Joker is one of the five DLC characters included in the $25 Fighters Pass; the four others have yet to be unveiled.
