Yuzu, the popular Nintendo Switch emulator, has added disk cache support in the latest canary update.

The emulator has been showing awe-inspiring upgrades in each update. Do you know the emulator was able to play Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee? (although with some bugs) just a few days after its release.

Talking about the emulator, according to gearnuke, we’re really excited for the disk cache as it can be used to quickly load shaders and textures from your CPU much faster as they don’t need to be built up from scratch.

Do note the emulator is still in its early stages with most games not playable yet, so this is certainly not a ready product, but the news is encouraging for the community nonetheless.

Without exaggerating more, let's see how the disk shader cache works in Yuzu in the video below.

What do you think about this emulator? Have you tried it? Do you think of using it any moment? Let's know your thought in the comment section.
