When Mortal Kombat 11 was initially announced last year at The Game Awards, fans were thrilled at what they saw- and became even more excited when it was confirmed that it would be coming to Nintendo Switch.

According to Comicbook, a new product listing get us thinking if that version of the game will be making its way to Nintendo on the exact release date, April 2019.

Amazon and a few other European retailers, recently updated the release date for the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 11, now showing it for release on May 10. You can see the Amazon UK listing here, and the Amazon France product page too.

Perhaps the official Warner Bros. UK store also has that the Switch version dated for May 10th, even though the company hasn’t provided an official update on what’s happening just yet.

Anyway this might be for the European region, though bear it in mind that the known release date for Mortal Kombat 11 here in United States is April 23rd, 2019.
A delay certainly wouldn’t be the end of the world, but it makes us wonder if NetherRealm need some more time to make the Switch version unique, since that version is likely to be in high demand with the fighting community. After all, who wouldn’t want to play Mortal Kombat 11 with friends? Nobody we guess. The Mortal Kombat 11 community event is happening this Thursday, so let's hopefully wait and see if there will be any official announcement.

Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release on April 23 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
