Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 wins the sales battle leaving Rockstar's wild west open world shooter Red Dead Redemption 2 at it's back.

According to the sales data shared by NPD, Red Dead Redemption 2 was second in sales next to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in October 2018. There is something important to keep in mind here, and it is the days counted for both games. Red Dead Redemption 2 has just 9 days counted for it while Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was out for more days. It is natural to assume that Black Ops 4 will likely sell more units due to being on the market before Red Dead Redemption 2.

As far as the sales are concerned, SoulCalibur 6 managed to debut in the Top Ten while Assassin’s Creed Odyssey had a decent hold coming off from its debut month. Overall, this was a record-breaking sales month for gaming since NPD begin tracking of sales data in 1995.
