Vivo 9 pro Review



In the market of aggressive competition among the mid-range smartphones, with the likes of honor, nokia, xiaomi, oppo and asus. Vivo doesn’t want to be left behind. The recent launch of the Vivo V9 Pro says it all. Don’t Believe us? Have a look at the specifications.

DESIGN AND CAMERA
The vivo V9 Pro comes with a usual notch display and a very little chin and a aluminium body. The back of the phone features a dual camera setup overlapped to one another and a fingerprint scanner mounted just above the vivo logo on the back. The design pretty much resembles the Moto One Power which is yet another  mid-range competitor with similar specs. The vivo V9 Pro packs a 13MP, f/2.2, PDAF primary camera along side a 2MP depth sensor with a Bright Dual-tone flash for low light imaging. The front camera is a 12 MP, f/2.0 selfie cam with capabilities of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.


PERFORMANCE & BATTERY
Any car is incomplete without it’s engine, The same way a phone is complete without it’s processor. Talking about what’s under the hood of this device, The Vivo V9 Pro follows up the same processor as it’s elder sibling Vivo V11 Pro, i.e the Octa-core (4*2.2 Ghz Kyro 260 & 4*1.8 Ghz Kyro 260) Snapdragon 660 with an Adreno 512 GPU. The device packs up a staggering 3260 Mah battery to power this device with upto 94 hours of standby time.

STORAGE AND RAM
Unfortunately, this particular model of vivo doesn’t come with more than one variant, so you might not get to choose much. However the phone does come with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of inbuilt memory. The best part is that the phone comes with a dedicated memory slot for sd card input. It is expandable upto 256 GB.



SOFTWARE
The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo powered by vivo’s own operating system, The Fun touch OS!

OTHER FEATURES
Apart from all the above features, the phone comes loaded with a 3.5mm jack, gyro, HDR, Panorma mode, compass accelerometer and proximity sensor. The device is available in 2 different colours to choose from, namely The black and the red colour. The phone is said to be priced at about 300 EUR, Rs 19,900 and 352 USD only.
