NVIDIA last night at Gamescom 2018 announced their new RTX 20 Series GPUs - RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080 and RTX 2070. It's the first time ever that they've taken a leap so big and also launched the higher end flagship Ti model along with the RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 GPUs.

A ton of leaks came out in the past weeks. Some of them were true, some of them weren't. Here are the final specs, how to pre-order and the advancements brought in the RTX 20 Series GPUs explained -

Turing Architecture equipped with Ray Tracing

The new gen GPUs equipped with the much hyped Turing architecture that provides OTOY OctaneRender and speeds that NVIDIA calls Unprecedentedt'. According to NVIDIA:
Ray tracing is the definitive solution for lifelike lighting, reflections, and shadows, offering a level of realism far beyond what’s possible using traditional rendering techniques. Turing is the first GPU capable of real-time ray tracing.

AI Powered:

2018 was all about artificial intelligence and NVIDIA has not disappointed the trend by using AI and deep learning to enhance the user experience in its newest gen of GPUs. IT is capable enough to perform 500 trillion tensor operations per second, substantially more than what the older gen GPUs could ever achieve.
NVIDIA on its website says:
Artificial intelligence is driving the greatest technology advancement in history, and Turing is bringing it to computer graphics. Armed with Tensor Cores that deliver AI computing horsepower, Turing GPUs can run powerful AI algorithms in real time to create crisp, clear, lifelike images and special effects that were never before possible.

Smart Pricing:

Seemingly NVIDIA has not only used AI to enhance the GPUs, they've used it to plan their pricing too.

Delivering '6x' performance compared to its predecessors, the new GPUs are smartly priced to not hit the pockets of the end user and perhaps increase the marketability tremendously by increasing the scope of the target audience.
